Juno Direct and Venus Conjunct Sun: Rapturous Relating

Juno Direct and Venus conjunct Sun Offers Closure and Healing in Relationships on October 22, 2022

Juno, goddess of committed partnership, went retrograde back in July, setting us on a winding path of reexamining our closest partnerships. Juno’s retrograde has been a time of intense relationship retrospection. You may have experienced either a reworking and reorganizing in your relationships, and/or a perfect storm of miscommunication. All the while, we have been examining if our relationships align with our spiritual values.

Juno has been in a long retrograde cycle which we explained in detail in a previous post. This cycle has been marked by certain significant milestone days. For example, When Juno opposed the Sun in her retrograde on September 7, 2022, we had an opportunity for striking insight regarding our most significant relationships.

Finally, on October 22, 2022, Juno will go direct again in Pisces. At this point we will begin to integrate the many insights we have gleaned from our long period of relationship reflection. How can we use our experience productively to improve and strengthen our closest relationships?

Venus Conjunct Sun on the Day of Juno Direct

On the very same day, Venus exactly conjuncts the Sun. We call this day “Relationship Rapture Day”. This day marks the end of one Venus Retrograde cycle and the beginning of the new one with a day of “Ah-ha!” or epiphany. When Venus conjuncts the Sun while moving forward swiftly, it brings an “Ah-ha!” in our relationships and helps them progress at speed.

This cycle’s Relationship Rapture Day occurs on October 22, 2022, the same day that Juno goes direct. Therefore, it has the potential to bring powerful understanding and closure to a lengthy and difficult process of relationship review and reconsideration.

Solar Eclipse in Scorpio supports the Emotional Closure of Juno Direct

Shortly after Juno goes direct, we have an impactful Solar Eclipse in Scorpio. This Scorpio Eclipse brings us the opportunity to clean up any problems that may have cropped up during the Juno retrograde period. Eclipses are challenging, as they force us to look at our shadow selves, but they also offer powerful opportunities for integration.
